And The New Team Names Are…

This past summer we asked you to help us decide on new team names and we were just as excited as you are to find out the results!

A quick reminder of what your tribe symbols stand for:

Chippewas: the thunderbird, symbol of unlimited happiness.

As we journey through life, guided by the thunderbird’s wisdom, may we remember that happiness is not found in material possessions or external circumstances, but in the simple moments of connection, gratitude, and love. It is found in the laughter of friends, the beauty of nature, and the warmth of a kind word or gesture.

May we embrace the thunderbird’s blessings with open hearts and open minds, allowing its spirit to infuse our lives with a sense of wonder and possibility. May we soar on the wings of unlimited happiness, spreading joy and light wherever we go, and inspiring others to do the same.

Pawnees: the crossed arrows, which stands for friendship.

As friends come together on the archery range, they offer one another guidance and encouragement, celebrating each other’s successes and understanding in moments of frustration. Through the challenges and triumphs of archery, friends deepen their understanding of one another, forging bonds that withstand the tests of time and adversity. They learn to celebrate each other’s strengths and embrace the unique qualities that make each friendship a cherished treasure.

May you embrace the journey of companionship with open hearts and open minds, knowing that true friendship is a gift to be cherished and celebrated.

Shawnees: the butterfly, representing everlasting life.

The butterfly’s metamorphosis is a testament to the transformative power of life. In the gentle flutter of its wings, the butterfly whispers a timeless promise of everlasting life—a sacred journey of transformation and renewal. Just as the butterfly leaves behind a legacy of beauty and grace, so too do we leave behind a trail of love, wisdom, and light that illuminates the path for generations to come.

In the presence of the butterfly, may we find peace, joy, and the promise of everlasting life.
