- What’s new at summer camp these days?
Technology has changed everything! Parents can now enjoy daily photos of their campers, send emails to their children, and even receive camper messages via email. You can also follow the fun on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and our website: www.riverviewcamp.com.
- What sets Riverview apart?
We are Accredited by the American Camping Association, and almost all of our staff are former campers themselves, returning to give back. Our counselors go through extensive orientation with child psychologists and camp experts, and we have 3–4 nurses plus a doctor on site each session to ensure safety and peace of mind.
- How do campers spend their days?
Campers choose 6 activities each day from over 20 options—from kayaking to arts & crafts—while still having the flexibility to switch things up if they change their minds.
- Why choose a residential camp?
Residential camp is a great way for girls to gain independence, meet new friends from across the country, and create lifelong memories and can prepare them for college. Even after camp, technology helps campers maintain these new friendships safely from home.
- How do you handle homesickness?
We work with each child individually… if we cannot work through these feelings quickly, we will give the parents a call to ask for guidance.
